Teradyne Test Equipment and Software Nominated for Evaluation Engineering Readers' Choice Award
 

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- February 23, 2000 -- Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER) announced the Spectrum™ Manufacturing Test Platform is a finalist in the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) category of Evaluation Engineering magazine's "1999 Readers' Choice Award." In the Software category Teradyne's TestStudio™/SP 99, Web-based ATE software, is a finalist. Winners, determined by the magazine's subscribers, of the nine product categories will be announced in the March issue of Evaluation Engineering.

Spectrum™ Manufacturing Test Platform

The Spectrum™ Manufacturing Test Platform is a single, common manufacturing test platform for in-circuit and functional test of printed circuit assemblies. The Spectrum™ Manufacturing Test Platform spans the entire range of board-test applications, including classic in-circuit test (ICT), in-line process test, single-stage test (ICT plus functional), high-performance digital functional test, and depot-based diagnosis and repair.
