READING, MA -- February 18, 2002 -- Teradyne's [NYSE:
TER] Assembly Test Division (ATD) today announced the
attainment of a major product milestone in the 100th
customer shipment of a Spectrum™ 9000-Series test
system. Representatives from the Oklahoma Air Logistics
Center at Tinker Air Force Base, in Oklahoma attended
an event at Teradyne's North Reading, Massachusetts
facility to commemorate the delivery of the 100th Spectrum
9000-Series test system which will be deployed in support
of intermediate level maintenance for the B-1B Lancer
Strategic Bomber.
Teradyne has a long-standing relationship with the
B-1B program, providing test equipment, software and
support to Tinker AFB. The delivery of the latest Spectrum
9000-Series test system to Tinker AFB marks an expansion
of Teradyne's continuing commitment to this important
program.
