GR Versa combines National Instruments' new MXI-3 technology and expertise in software and instrumentation with GenRad's expertise in functional test and diagnostics. It combines National Instruments' multi-threaded test engine, TestStand™ with GenRad's test management software suite.

Using GenRad's PXIscan technology, the GR Versa's flexible architecture accepts PXI and CompactPCI instruments, in both 3U and 6U form factors. GR Versa includes a 21-slot chassis, and is available as a 19" rack mount or stand alone system.

At the French show between Sept. 19-21, GenRad will also run live demonstrations of leading ATE technologies with a range of testers that enable data generation from all parts of the production line.

• GR Pilot is the fixtureless flying probe test system that is breaking new ground in prototype and low-volume test applications. Using air bearings for high speed and precise operation, this four-probe system is capable of a broad range of power-off or power-on, in-circuit and functional tests. Test programs can be easily generated using CAD data or by "auto-learning" on the WindowsTM-based software.
• GR TestStation is the pure pin in-circuit test system designed to meet growing technological challenges for tighter voltage levels, accurate test voltages, and more useable digital resources.

GR TestStation offers a flexible configuration, is upgradeable and features a non-multiplexed architecture. It is capable of testing large, complex and heavily-integrated PCBs for many different industry applications.
