[NYSE: GEN], a global leader in electronics manufacturing productivity solutions, today announced a multimillion dollar global licensing agreement with Celestica Inc. (TSE, NYSE: CLS), a world leader in electronics manufacturing services (EMS), for the deployment of next generation Shop Floor Data Manager (SFDM) software.

GenRad made the announcement during a business presentation at the annual Wall Street Analyst Forum.

Initial deployment of GenRadês next generation, industry-leading MES application will be in Celesticaês high-volume manufacturing facility in Thailand, a facility that provides EMS to a wide range of OEM (original equipment manufacturer) customers. The data management application will collect and analyze large amounts of information at Celesticaês facility without slowing or interrupting the manufacturing process. GenRadês SFDM application will be deployed subsequently in Celestica plants worldwide. Previously, Celestica had deployed GenRadês first-generation MES application at facilities in Mexico, Ireland and the U.S.
