TSN Program Description
The Teradyne Support Network (TSN) was created by Teradyne
as an organization of approved suppliers of services that
ATD customers may use with assurance of quality and support.
Each TSN member brings an expertise of one or more services
that assists Teradyne's customers in getting the most from
their Teradyne board test or inspection equipment. Equipment
supported by the network includes all of Teradyne's In-Circuit
Test, Functional Test, Optical Inspection and X-Ray Inspection
systems.
The TSN program consists of four basic categories of membership
each with its own level of service:
- TSN Full Member is the most common and features companies
with specialties in fixturing, programming or a combination
of both.
- TSN Associate Member is a 6-month membership for a company
that has significant expertise in similiar technology and
can provide services in fixturing or programming. These
companies are in the process of building their client base.
- TSN Participating Vendor is a company that provides a
specific product as opposed to a specific service. This
category would include spring probe manufacturers, fixture
kit manufacturers as well as software companies.
- TSN Select Member, is a company that is contracted with
Teradyne to provide a specific service either under the
Teradyne banner or their own company name. A Select member
will also be able to provide services of fixturing and programming
as well.
| Teradyne has processes in place
that regularly check the status and quality level of each
TSN Member. However, it should be noted that, in almost
every case, there are limited financial and/or legals
ties between any TSN member and Teradyne. Therefore, Teradyne
is not liable for any consequences caused by the action
of a TSN member. However, it is requested that any inadequacies
or issues with a TSN Member be reported to the TSN
Director. |
