In May 2015, Teradyne GSO hardware engineer, Tao Wang, was elevated to the grade of Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Senior Member is the highest professional grade of the IEEE for which a member may apply. This elite ranking requires experience, and reflects professional accomplishment and maturity. Out of 433,000 IEEE members only 9% have achieved this level.

Tao joined Teradyne in 2013 and specifically the Teradyne GSO hardware group in January of 2015. She has worked on power, high-speed digital and RF simulations for major Teradyne customers in Korea, Taiwan, China, Europe and the U.S.
