Health Care Benefits
Teradyne offers employees a comprehensive healthcare program including medical, dental and vision care plan for you, your spouse, or domestic partner, and children. In addition, employees may also choose from three Reimbursement Accounts which offer pre-tax contributions to help with healthcare, dependent care or adoption expenses.

Fitness Centers
Many Teradyne locations offer on-site gym and workout facilities, as well as health enrichment programs, which include: fitness appraisals, weight and stress management classes and various sports leagues.

Disability Protection
In the event you become sick or injured and are unable to work, Teradyne’s Short Term Disability plan provides replacement income. Our Long Term Disability coverage offers protection if you’re out of work for a lengthier period of time due to injury or illness.

  • Short Term Disability
    If you are hospitalized overnight or out of work because of a non-work-related injury or illness Teradyne's Short Term Disability (STD) Plan will provide 75 percent of your covered salary for the first 90 days of your disability, and 60 percent for the next 90 days (in California, this may be the next 275 days). Teradyne pays for STD coverage up to $46,327 ( $100,880 in California, with a small employee payroll deduction) of your salary per year. If you earn more than that, you may purchase additional low-cost coverage up to the amount of your total salary.
  • Long Term Disability
    If you are hospitalized or out of work as a result of illness or injury for more than 180 days (365 days in California), Teradyne's Long Term Disability (LTD) Plan pays 60% of your salary.  Teradyne pays the entire cost of the plan.

Life Insurance
Teradyne offers group life insurance protection for you and your dependents. Teradyne provides free basic coverage of 1.5 times your annual salary. You can purchase additional coverage at a low group rate.

Long Term Care
Long Term Care Insurance helps cover the cost of long term care services received in your home or in facilities such as an assisted living facility, adult day care center, or conventional nursing home. Long Term Care involves personal care for people with a prolonged physical illness, disability or cognitive disorder such as Alzheimer’s disease.  

Voluntary Benefits
Teradyne offers employees several voluntary benefits:

  • Car and homeowners insurance – employees in most locations may receive a discount on premiums for car, homeowners and rental insurance. Premiums are paid through payroll deductions.
  • Group Legal – Services include wills, real estate closings, debt collection, identity theft defense and more
  • MetDesk – A benefit for children or other dependents with special needs.
  • Pet Insurance – Underwrites your pet with a policy to cover more than 6,400 medical problems and conditions, including hospitalization, lab fees and surgeries.

Travel Accident Insurance
Teradyne’s Business Travel Accident Insurance Plan provides coverage for accidental death while traveling on company business.

Time Off and Holidays
As a new hire, you’ll receive 15 days of flex time, to be used for either personal time or sick time. In addition, Teradyne provides eight and a half company-paid holidays each year and two flex holidays to be used when you want.
