Sales Engineering

 

Sales engineers play a key role in creating and sustaining a long-term relationship between the customer and Teradyne. You will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the customer's business and technological requirements, and for aligning Teradyne resources with the customer's objectives to obtain mutual success. As a Sales Engineer, you will strengthen Teradyne’s market share position in key accounts through implementation of "Customer Team Process", as well as meeting sales quota including identifying and qualifying opportunities, managing the competitive sales process, alignment of Teradyne product roadmaps, forecasting and quoting/booking orders.

Specific job responsibilities:

· Responsible for selling Teradyne products and services in an assigned territory, industry, or account.
· Provides administrative and technical product information to prospective and existing customers.
· Provides quotations for products and services and participates in the negotiation process.
· Implements strategy for gaining market share in accounts or target market segment.
· Participates within the Customer Team to achieve customer goals.
· Co-ordinates and hosts customer meetings both at customer and Teradyne sites.
· Develops relationships with key customer contacts and assists in getting relationships established deep and
  wide.
· Must meet assigned sales quota.

As a Sales Engineer, you may be asked to travel on short notice. Sales experience in capital equipment sales in the semiconductor or a related industry is a plus. We are looking for candidates with a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, as well as an MBA.
