What are Teradyne's core values? There are three core values: honesty and integrity; company without doors; and customers count on us. Teradyne's value of honesty and integrity means that employees take a personal ownership to uphold the company's reputation. As such, employees choose to do the right thing and tell it like it is. The company without doors value focuses on open and candid discussions. This reinforces that when all the cards are on the table and all information is available to everyone - the right decisions can be made. Customers count on us means the company is doing whatever it takes to satisfy the customer. We go the extra mile to do what's right for the customer, because ultimately, that customer is counting on us to come through for them. There are dozens of stories in the company of employees working extra hours, coming up with innovative solutions and getting answers when there didn't appear to be any, all to help our customers. Teradyne’s core values come from the people working here, and those values remain consistent over the long haul, even as markets, strategies and goals change. Employees from all over the world provided input for a set of three core values for the company.

We value personal responsibility and initiative. No one will stand over you telling you exactly what to do. It’s your responsibility to dive right in, ask questions and tackle as many tasks as you can. We place a very low value on bureaucracy and the typical corporate perks like special executive offices and dining rooms. Those things just get in the way of doing what’s right for the customer.
