The Integrated Family of Test Equipment (IFTE), originally developed by Northrop Grumman for the Army, is one of the standard automatic test system (ATS) families designated by Department of Defense (DoD) policy for use in field, depot and manufacturing test. Teradyne’s M9-Series VXI digital test subsystem hardware and software is integrated in the entire test family.

(IFTE) is a standard automated test system for detecting electronic faults in military weapons systems. IFTE can be used across all maintenance levels from the front line to the depot.

As a highly mobile, fast, multifunctional tester, IFTE reduces weapon downtime, unnecessary component replacements and excess spares inventory by improving the speed and quality of diagnosis and repair. It provides analog, digital, radio frequency/microwave, electro-optics and hybrid test capability over a broad frequency spectrum.
