New at 2008 AMC: Boeing has designated Teradyne's Spectrum CTS as the common test platform for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Spectrum CTS is a modern functional test platform for testing commercial avionics LRUs and SRUs. It reduces the cost of aircraft maintenance by leveraging existing airline investments and expanding the support available for Boeing airplanes. Spectrum CTS replaces the ATS-182a for testing Boeing 737, 747, 757 and 767 and features new capability to test 737NG and 777 aircraft. 240 OEM-certified TPSs are referenced in applicable Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
