| LASAR™ Simulation System is the U.S. defense industry's standard for digital test program set (TPS) development. LASAR’s graphical user interface steps guides you through the step of creating a board-level model of the UUT (unit under test), generating and simulating test vectors, and analyzing good circuit and fault simulation results. Unlike design simulators, LASAR focuses on the problems facing the test engineer – predicting the timing variability of signals at the tester-UUT interface and on the UUT, predicting the behavior of the UUT when a physical fault is present, building an accurate diagnostic database for isolating faults on actual hardware. Menu-guided programming streamlines TPS development. For modeling, LASAR V6.60 supports structural Verilog and VHDL/VITAL and access to the comprehensive Synopsis SmartModel Library.
LASAR test patterns and diagnostics results are post-processed to IEEE 1445 (Digital Test Interchange Format) format, and are exported directly to the Teradyne M9-Series digital test instrument.
