Z-Space DIB Modules

TAG Z-Space signal modules residing on your DIB are a cost-effective means to:

  • Distribute collectively many common DIB/HIB functions for signal distribution, device trimming, and power management
  • Deliver niche signal conditioning or precision measurements
  • Free up DIB real estate to accommodate increased parallelism
  • Support a specific drive or measurement range that a general-purpose instrument may not satisfy

TAG Z-Space modules provide a low cost, DUT-focused solution that will also reduce your DIB development costs.

FLEX Remote Start Switch (P/N 600-314-00)

FLEX users can now execute an engineering test program just by pressing a switch located at the test head.  The switch is rugged enough to be activated by hand or foot. Interface to the tester is through a 16’ USB cable.

ZMR-2C32 (32xDPDT) Relay Module
(P/N 600-313-00 [5V]; P/N
600-309-00 [12V])

The ZMR-2C32 is a Z-space module that provides 32 DPDT relays for use in test circuits, controlled via the FLEX Extended UDB (ExtUDB) serial control bus.  It plugs into a standard 244-pin MiniDIMM socket that accepts a 3.25” width board.

UDB Expander (P/N 600-316-00)

The ZMU-208 is a Z-space module that interfaces to the FLEX Extended UDB (ExtUDB) serial control bus to provide 208 Utility Data Bits (UDB)  for relay control in a test circuit.  It plugs into a standard 244-pin MiniDIMM socket that accepts a 3.25” width board.

DC-Reference (FLEX) (P/N 600-317-00)

The DC-REF-2 is a Z-space module that provides two 16-bit precision voltages, ranging from -12.5 to +12.5 volts. The two voltages enable pedestal test techniques or as reference to the servo loop controller module that is commonly used to test precision analog-to-digital converters.  It plugs into a standard 244-pin MiniDIMM socket that accepts a 3.25” width board.

RF Quad Mixer (P/N 600-319-00)

The RF Quad Mixer takes an RF input and mixes it with a local oscillator to provide a down-converted IF signal as output.  The module contains four identical mixing circuits.  SMA connections are used for all RF/IF/LO signals.  Unlike most modules, this module mounts between the stiffener internal rails.
