Teradyne - Semiconductor Test Division

Semiconductor Test is a lead-
ing supplier of semiconductor test equipment for logic, RF, analog, power, mixed-signal, and memory technologies. We deliver test solutions to developers and manufacturers of a broad range of integrated circuits, packaged separately or integrated as System-On-a-Chip (SOC) or System-In-Package (SIP) devices. ICs tested by Teradyne are used in computing, communications, consumer, automotive, identification, and internet applications.

Product Integration

Who is PI?

Production Integration is a team within the Non Memory marketing division of Teradyne that helps to ensure any designs, issues, or needs from the customer are met when it comes time to integrate the Teradyne testers onto the customer's production floor.

Derivative Design: A team of 5 mechanical engineers that design and develop the mechanical docking solutions for the test cell.

New Product Development: A team of 8 mechanical engineers that develop standalone products to aid in tester/handler/prober efficiencies, and integrate with 3rd party manipulator suppliers. (HIB Changers, Probe Debug Tools, etc..)

Software Applications: A team of 4 engineers that develop the s/w drivers for each test cell combination

Signal Delivery Applications: A team of 3 engineers that provide DIB design guidelines and training, instrument spice models, and specialized knowledge in signal integrity issues at the DUT.

Product Specialists: A team of 6 engineers that provide expert assistance in debugging handler/prober/tester docking issues, as well as detailed equipment knowledge for configuration and new design work"

 

PI delivers customized hardware and software solutions to enable our customers to utilize Teradyne test equipment with their preference of material handling equipment with the goal of optimizing throughput and minimizing time to revenue.
