(NYSE:TER) announced that Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), the world's leading provider of silicon technology for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), has selected Teradyne's MicroWAVE6000™ instrumentation suite for testing PRISM IndigoT WLAN devices. PRISM Indigo, Intersil 5 GHz chip set solution delivers fast 54 megabit-per-second (Mbps) data rates and is designed to meet the escalating demand for high-speed wireless connectivity in the enterprise and home.
