BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2002--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER) today introduced the AWG LAN for the Catalyst and Tiger test systems. The AWG LAN is the first Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) instrument specifically designed to meet the waveform generation needs of the expanding LAN market. The new AWG LAN instrument is designed with an advanced channel card that tests up to eight 100 or 1000 BaseT ports on Tiger (4 on Catalyst) in parallel thereby increasing throughput and reducing cost of test.
