SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 2002--Magis Networks, Inc. announced today that it has named Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) as its 2002 Test Solution Supplier of the Year. Teradyne is the world's largest supplier of automatic test equipment for the electronics and telecommunications industries. Magis develops chipsets that enable wireless communications of high-quality video, TCP/IP data, and audio throughout the home and office under the Air5T brand name.
With the support of Teradyne's Test Assistance Group (TAG), Magis has gained access to world-class test development software, such as IMAGET and VX. This has enabled Magis to create a virtual test environment to debug their test programs and digital patterns.

Magis develops chipsets for next-generation wireless networks that enable the simultaneous distribution of high-quality video, audio, and TCP/IP data throughout the home and office.
