SHANGHAI, CHINA - March 1, 2004 - Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER) announced that the State-Key Lab oratory of ASIC & System , established in 1992 at Fudan University by the central government of the Peoples Republic of China, has selected Teradyne's Catalyst test system for design verification of data converters for network communication applications. In addition to the capability of Catalyst's mixed-signal test solution, Teradyne was selected for the company's strong applications and customer support infrastructure in China . The Catalyst will be used in both design verification and volume production.
