KUMAMOTO, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2003--Teradyne (NYSE:TER) announced today that King Yuan Electronics Co., LTD, Taiwan's largest IC test house by revenue, purchased multiple IP750 test systems for image sensor testing. The test systems installed in King Yuan's Hsin-chu plant will be used in front-end production and the systems in the Chunan facility will be dedicated to back-end test. King Yuan will use Teradyne's IP750 for testing linear sensors in copy machines and scanners and area sensors for digital cameras and camera-equipped mobile phones.
