Teradyne Collaborates with Amideon Systems for Entry into Russian Market
MUNICH, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 2004--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER), the world's largest supplier of semiconductor test equipment, announced today its first system installation in Russia. Teradyne in collaboration with Amideon Systems installed the 512-pin J750 test system at the Scientific Research Institute of Electronic Engineering (RIEE) in Voronezh. The system will be used in the design and development of integrated microcircuits. "Teradyne's J750 was chosen for its high throughput test capabilities and the ease of programming and economical approach to testing complex devices," said Mr. Stojanov, Director of RIEE. "The system combines the power and familiarity of standard Windows productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic and the performance of Teradyne's IG-XL test software to enhance equipment operation."
