(NYSE:TER) announced today that the world's largest independent provider of semiconductor testing services, ASE Test Limited in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, has purchased multiple Tiger test systems. ASE Test will use Teradyne's Tiger to expand test solutions for a range of devices manufactured by their diverse customer base. Selection of the multiple test systems was based on the fast "time to market" capabilities of the high-performance Tiger. Tiger's unique combination of 3rd Generation SOC Architecture and TwinMode(TM) differential digital capability offers economical at-speed testing for emerging devices which include multiple high-speed data standards including USB2, 1 GHz DDR, HyperTransport(TM), and other LVDS and SerDes technologies.
