Amlogic Specifies the Teradyne J750Ex for Audio-Video Processor Device Test

SHANGHAI, China – March 18, 2008 – Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announced that Amlogic, Inc., a leading fabless video, imaging and audio processing semiconductor company, has selected the J750Ex™ for its next-generation processor device test. In a competitive review process, Amlogic’s selection of the J750Ex was based on gaining superior test economics by achieving high multi-site efficiency while running next generation devices at full functional speed. The selection was also based on Teradyne’s large installed base of J750 test systems at subcontractors, enabling a quick ramp to high-volume production with the new J750Ex Instrument Suite.
