Options: BBAC Broadband AC - Performance 15 MHz Source/Capture
Teradyne’s BBAC delivers source and capture of analog signals in one instrument across the 15 MHz bandwidth with the lowest instrument noise density in broadband test (-154dBfs/Hz). The patented BBAC architecture is designed for linearity performance and low noise density to test next generation broadband devices. BBAC provides –115dBc THD for audio, up to 125dBfs of dynamic range for xDSL, and signal phase alignment of +/- 0.1 degree for WCDMA and G3. Available for Catalyst, Tiger, and FLEX, the BBAC creates a simplified production test environment for devices in a wide range of measurement frequencies, protocols, and performance. Its low noise density enables measurements with fewer samples and higher repeatability for faster test times. BBAC’s user-friendly programming environment simplifies test development, with standardized routines for new users and full instrument control and graphical debug for power users. BBAC Device Test Applications
ADSL, PC Audio, Professional Audio, High-precision ADC and DAC, High-speed ADC and DAC, Cellular Baseband, Cellular Basestation, CDMA/WCDMA, Video (<15 MHz), HDTV and DTV, DVD, Set-top Box.
Audio Performance
BBAC SRC linearity performance for Audio frequencies provides over 115dB THD with a 1 KHz input tone. Measured using third-party bench top equipment.
VDSL Performance
The BBAC arbitrary waveform feature is essential to provide signals such as 1624 multi-tone VDSL signals. BBAC’s technology flexibility enables users to test their silicon the way it will be used in its final application.
